Allen Clyde Nelson Obituary (1951 - 2017)

Allen Clyde Nelson Sr., 65, of Greeneville, passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at Johnson City Medical Center. He is survived by: wife: Carolyn O'Neal; children: Allen Frank Nelson, Jesse Allen Nelson, Allen Clyde Nelson Jr., John Anthony Nelson; stepdaughter: Misti Bobbin; mother: Wanda L. Holt; brother: Douglas Nelson; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by: his father: Arthur Frank Nelson; 2 sisters: Angela R. Arrowood, Ruth Billerbeck. He retired from ETM in 2013. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7 PM at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The funeral service will be held on Sunday from 5-7 PM in the downtown chapel, with the Rev. Buster Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in Horse Creek Church of God.
