Avadean "Gail" Ball Chapman Obituary (1947 - 2017)

Avadean "Gail" Ball Chapman passed away Saturday afternoon, June 10, 2017 at her home. Gail was a member of Peoples Tabernacle Church. She was employed as the Food Manager at Noah's Ark Preschool for 12 years. She is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter in law, Andy Southerland, Shawn and Cassie Nease; a granddaughter, Kaelynn Nease; great-grandson, Noah Gosnell; 2 sisters, Lavada Bolton and Charlotte Hinkle; special nephew, Mark Hinkle; and 5 nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.C. Chapman; parents, Edgar and Iretus Ball; brother, Lowell Ball. The family will receive friends Friday, June 16, 2017 from 10-11am at First Church of God. The memorial service will follow visitation at the church, with Pastor David Tweed officiating. Interment will take place at a later date in Cross Anchor Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
