Glenn E. Davis, Sr. Obituary (1944 - 2016)

Glenn E. Davis, Sr., 72, of Greeneville, TN, passed away September 15, 2016 at Garden Manor Rehab, in Middletown, OH. Mr. Davis was retired from Bosch, and was also a builder, and carpenter for most of his life. He was a big TN Vols fan, liked to ride motorcycles, and loved his horses. He was a member of VFW, spent 40 plus years in the Ruritan, where he was past president, and a current board member. He is survived by three children, Glenn Davis, Jr. and Lori Nichols, William B. Davis, Brandy Bennett, and Ben Daughetee; sister, Faye (Gary) Arrington; brother, Charles (MaryJo) Davis; ex-wife, and mother of his children, Barbara Davis Hixenbaugh, who was by his side, for every minute of his rehab.; grandchildren, Whitney (Brian) Becerra, Calianna Davis, William Dowling, Joey, Jeffrey, and Christina Bennett; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin C. Davis, and Ellen (Norton) Davis; sisters, Imogene Ayers, Alice Fillers; brother, Donald (Wayne) Davis; son, Richard Davis; grandson, Drew Davis. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 1-3pm at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow visitation in Jeffers Chapel at Afton, with Rev.
