Omie Taylor Wright Obituary (1995 - 2017)

Omie Wright, 22, of Mohawk, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital as a result of an extended illness. She was a 2013 graduate of West Greene High School. Omie is survived by her daughter, Natalie Wills; her one true love, Jeffery Wills; mother, Crystal Wright, of Mohawk; father, Michael Marrs; grandparents, Roger and Linnis Wright, of Mohawk, Francis Eckert and John Marrs, of VA; great-grandmother, Lillian Carter; 2 sisters, Justina Marrs, and Courtney Marrs, of VA; brother, Mikey Selvage, of PA; special aunt and uncle, Sondra and Scott Lane; special cousins, Courtney Solomon and Ivan Soloman. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 16, 2017 from 4-7pm at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will follow visitation at 7pm in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Chris Howell and Rev. Richard Hill officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the funeral home Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 9:30am to go in procession to McMillan Cemetery for the 10:30am graveside service. Pallbearers will be Ivan Solomon, Richard, Siccion, Tate Good, Don Cunningham, Curtis Carter, and Kelley Fasnacht. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
