Phillip "Dink" Hinkle, 61, of Greeneville, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. He is survived by: wife of 27 years: Angie Hinkle: children: Jason Allen, Amy Collier, Brandi Hinkle, SGT Wayne Hinkle, Melissa Buttry, and Wendy Rakestraw; several grandchildren; 2 brothers:, Ricky Hinkle, Johnny Lee Hinkle; 5 sisters and brothers-in-law: Reba and Rufus "Duke" White, Betty Jo and Bruce "Healthy" Shepherd, Mary Jane "Crickett" and Mike McCoy, Marie Varney, Phyllis and Dave Satterly; mother in law, Wilma Johnson; sisters-in-law: Janice and Jim West, Debbie and Bobby Ripley, Treva and Randy Wilhoit, Tammy and Jimmy Jones, Teresa and Henry Martin; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Barry Smith, Lee Looney, and Johnny Smith. He is preceded in death by: parents: John and Nora Hinkle; 2 brothers: Kenneth Ray Hinkle and Jerry Hinkle. At his request, his body will be cremated. The family will receive friends, Saturday, August13, 2016 from 2-4pm at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The memorial service will follow visitation at 4pm in Jeffers Funeral Chapel Downtown, with Rev. Benny Hensley officiating.
