Roy Tullock Obituary (1943 - 2018) - Greeneville, Tennessee

Roy "Junior" Tullock, 75, of Kingsport Hwy, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Takoma Regional Hospital. Mr. Tullock was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back, and inspired a lot of young people growing up; never turning anyone down, when a helping hand was needed. He attended Bridges Chapel Church of God, and was a retired truck driver. He was a special inspiration and father figure to Jason Whitmore and Adam Covit. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Tullock; 6 children, Lisa Perkins, Ricky L and Deborah Tullock, of AL, Rodney E. Tullock and Shirley Black, Troy J. and Jana Tullock, of GA, Stacie M. and Allen Tolle, of FL, Robert Tullock; grandchildren and their spouses, Ryan and Julieanna Perkins, Heather and Tyler Black, Trevor and Ansley Tullock, Sarah and David Triantas, Jerel, Jenna, Jaden and Justin Tolle, Emma and Samuel Tullock, Breana and Hannah Missildine, Tiffany and Dylann Babb; great-grandchildren, Emory Black, Leigha and Axle Tullock, Evan and Adalyn Triantas, Esau Babb, Tyler Bradshaw; 2 sisters, Nancy Triplette, Kaneta Jo Benbow; aunt, Helen Gaddis; several special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher M. Tullock; parents, Roy, Sr. and Mary B. Tullock; granddaughter, Monica Bradshaw; sisters, Frances Richards, Minnie K. Cotter. The family will receive friends Friday, May 11, 2018 from 4-7pm at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 7pm in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Clarence Gammill officiating. Friends and family are asked to meet at the funeral home at 11:15am to go in procession to the graveside service, which will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 12pm at Cross Anchor Cemetery.
