Tommy Charles Powers Obituary (1936 - 2017)

Tom C. Powers, 80, of Afton, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. Tom was a charter member of Ridge Runners Car Club. His hobby was building street rods, going to shows with his late wife, and sharing memories with all his car buddies. He is survived by his son and daughter in law, Randy and Sherry Powers; daughter and son in law, Patricia and Mark Fugate; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Bill and Glenda Powers; sister, Betty Honaker; several nieces and nephews; 2 stepsons, David and Michael Peters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Powers; parents, Tom and Jean Powers; brother, Bob Powers; sister, Bonnie Linkoos. The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 12-2pm at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. Interment will be in Graceland Memorial Gardens, with Larry Rader officiating.
