Vallie Norma Warner Wilhoit Obituary (1934 - 2017)

Vallie Norma Warner Wilhoit, age 83, of Medina, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017. She was born April 19, 1934 in Cherry Grove, West Virginia to the late Sam and Ethel May (Bennett) Warner. Vallie was a faithful Christian woman who was active in her church. She enjoying playing the guitar and the piano and singing with her family. Vallie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Vallie is survived by her beloved husband and friend of 65 years, William H. Wilhoit, Sr.; children Dianna (Steve) Graham, Billie (Doug) Hays, William Wilhoit, Jr., and Mary (Bob) Edwards grandchildren; Samuel (Desire) Potter, Timothy, Andrew (Samantha) and Jonathan Hays, and Jessica, Robbie and Joshua Edwards; great grandchildren Temperance, Ayden, Jase, Alexis and Maliyah; sisters Joy (Marvin) Gainer and Wilma Galensky; and brother Charles Warner. She was preceded in death by her sister Pauline Bonnell; and brothers Fred, Willard and Pete Warner. Funeral services will be held 1:00 Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 12-1pm at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. Interment will be in River Hill Cemetery.
