Anna Evanos Clark, age 92, of Signature Healthcare, passed away at Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Monday morning, January 4, 2010. Memorial Service will be Thursday, January 7, 2009 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church with interment in Benton Cemetery in Benton Illinois. Dr. David Green will officate. Survivors include 1 Daughter & Son in Law: Becky & Tony Wheeler of Greeneville; 2 Grandsons: Douglas Wheeler and Phillip Wheeler of Greeneville; Sisters & Brothers in Law: Julia & Cluster Wood of Illinois and Pauline & Bob Kowal of Illinois; Nieces & Nephews: Johnny Wood, Carolyn Ozburne, Steven Kowal, Johnny Kowal, Chrissy Kowal, Paul Clark, Madda Moss, Julian Schmidt, and Candy Mattox; Several Great Nieces, Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband: George Harold Clark; Parents: Stephen & Mary Evanos; Sisters: Mary Popovich, Helen Bryton, Kenna Evanos; Brother: Charlie Evanos. Mrs. Clark was appointed as a missionary in 1954. She served in West and East Malaysia as well as Hong Kong with her husband. She returned to serve in the Philippines after her husband passed away in 1977. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Anderson, SC. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12-2pm at First Baptist Church in Greeneville. Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service is in charge of the arrangements
