Aubrey Della Grady-Shoemaker Obituary (1951 - 2019)

Aubrey Della Grady-Shoemaker, 67, of Greeneville, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at UT Medical Center. Ms. Shoemaker retired as a teacher from Walter’s State Community College. She was currently working as an adjunct faculty staff member at Northeast State Community College. She is survived by her children: Jason Shoemaker (Tara Ricker), Adrianna Latoia Shoemaker (Javvor Cantrell); godson: Adan Blevins; grandchildren: Jaelyn Makelta Shoemaker, Raina Nicolette Shoemaker, Mikayla Anne Shoemaker, Javvarah Mary/Judene Cantrell, Javvion Marcaden Cantrell, Emily King and Tana Ricker; brother: Jesse Martin; uncle: Allen Crockett; several other extended family; special friends: Alice McLaughlin, Treva Gudger, Betty Byrd, Rev. Martin Lister, Jean Harper, Arlene Sherman, and James Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her birth mother: Carrie Grady; aunt (mother) and uncle (father), who raised her: Jannie Martin and Benjamin (Doc) Martin; aunt: Marie Crockett; brothers and sisters: David Crockett, Herbert Lee Crockett, and Mary Helen Crockett. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2-3PM at Jeffers Funeral Service Downtown. The funeral service will follow visitation at 3PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Martin Lister officiating.
