Opal L. Alexander Obituary (2018) - Greeneville, Tennessee

Opal L. Alexander, 87, of the Horse Creek Community, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Life Care Center of Greeneville. Opal retired from PPG Industries in Knoxville and moved back to her hometown of Greene County. She was a member of Cedar Grove UM Church, and a board member at Horse Creek Ruritan Club. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Elmer and Tennie Alexander; brothers: Charles Alexander, Donald Alexander; two sisters: Bea Brand and Ruth Strange. The family would like offer a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Life Care Center of Greenevile. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 1-3pm at Cedar Grove UM Church. The funeral service will follow visitation, with Rev. Lynn Neas officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove UM Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
