Stella Waddell Pollack Obituary (2019)

Stella Waddell Pollack, 74, of Greeneville, passed away peacefully Sunday at her home. She will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her. Stella was a member of the Flag Branch Church of God and dedicated her life to helping others.She is survived by her daughters: Diane Waddell, and Vicki Waddell both of Greeneville; brothers: CL and Charlotte White, and Dean White; nieces: Janet and Keith Tolley, and Deana and Kenni Carter; nephews: Carl and Emily White, Wayne White, Kenneth White, and John White; several great-nieces, great-nephews; very special friends: Helen and Deon Avery, Teresa Dixon, Faye White, Margie Crum, James Caputa, Pat Ricker, Patti Neas, Barbara Wright, Wylda Stonecypher, Bridget Crum, and Michelle Finnerty.She was the daughter of the late Carl and Hattie Teaster White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Gerald Sanford Pollack; brothers: Hershel, James, Glea, and Roger White; sister: Dianna White; niece: Angel White.The family would like to express a special thank you to all the friends and caregivers who visited and supported her throughout her 30 year battle with cancer.The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 1-3 & 5-7PM at Jeffers Funeral Chapel at Afton. The funeral service will follow visitation in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Willis Bowers officiating. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date. Friends and family will be invited to a Celebration of Life gathering, which will be scheduled in the coming months.
