Deland Gosnell, 57, of Greeneville, passed away on August 2, 2022. He was a good man. He worked with his father since he was 14 years old. He moved in with his father to take care of him. He continued the family business as long as his health permitted. He was a stone mason and had an excellent reputation and was very trustworthy. He would help people whether he knew them or not. He helped his mother when she had cancer. He moved in with her to help care for her.\n\nHe is survived by his mother Jewell Gosnell (423-470-4319) to give condolences; daughter: Stephanie Scott; 7 grandchildren: special granddaughter McKinsey,1 grandson named after him: Asher Jermiah Deland, Orrin, Donna, Paisley, Maliya, and one to come; special nephew Eric Manis.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his father: Jimmy C. Gosnell; sister: Ashley Gosnell; grandparents: Drifty and Ella Gosnell, Ted Tweed, Ruby Tweed Cogdill.\n\nThere will be no formal services.\n\nDonations may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.\n\nJeffers Funeral and Cremation is in charge of the services.
