Terry Rednour

Terry Lynn Rednour passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was an employee of The Design Group Architect company for 26 years. He was the Auxiliary Chief of Police for the Greeneville Police Department for 21 years. Terry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He will sadly be missed.

He is survived by his wife Betty Rednour; children: Michael & Melissa Rednour, Tabitha Rednour Williams, Miley Rednour, Drew & Brittany Rednour, Ridge Rednour and fiance' Ashton Bollinger; grandchildren: Keaton and Sam Yost, Mikenzie Rednour and Tony Moore, Kameron Yost and May Murphree, Harper Hunter, Jayce Rednour, Everly Rednour; great grandchildren: Olivia Yost and Denver Yost; step grandchildren: Dustin and Kelly Kirkpatrick, Colton Kirkpatrick and Ireland Burke; step great grandchildren: Myles Moorman, Colt Kirkpatrick, Sunjay Moore, Brittlyn Kirkpatrick, Bentlee Kirkpatrick, Addie Proffitt, Brendan Proffitt. Sister: Debra & Donnie Morgan; brother: Tim & Lorri Rednour; father-in-law: Bobby Combs; sister-in-law: Lisa Combs & Jimmy Crum; special niece: Stacie Gosnell; and several uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents: R J & Frances Rednour; nephew: Matthew Ricker; niece: Abigail Ricker; mother-in-law: Joyce Combs; brother-in-law: Wallace Combs.

The family will receive friends on Thursday and Friday, January 29 and 30 from 1-3 and 5-7 at Jeffers Funeral Chapel in Afton. The funeral will be Saturday, January 31 at 2pm in the Chapel at Afton. The interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Rick Ballard and Chaplain Danny Ricker will officiate.

Pallbearers will be: Keaton Yost, Kameron Yost, Benjamin Rednour, Elliot Rednour, Colton Kirkpatrick and Matt Myers.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Jerry Smith, Steve Banks, Ben Lamons, Cameron Myers, Nancy Haney, Davey Fellers and Sean Wheeler.

The family would like to give special thanks to the Greeneville Police Department, Greene County Sheriff's Department, Dr. Dharmen Patel and FNP-C Josh Buck at Tennessee Cancer Specialists.
