Verona "Roni/Shorty" Swann, 69, of Greeneville, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at her home. Ms. Swann was a CNA at Takoma Regional Hospital, and was also a home caregiver in the community. She leaves to morn: one daughter: Brandy Swann of Greeneville; two special loving, devoted; granddaughters: Raven Goins and Riane Goins; one brother: Kyle Swann of Cosby; one sister and brother-in-law: Jane (Darrell) Ellis of Dandridge, TN; two nephews: Rev. Stephen (Susie) Swann, Shane (Katherine) Swann; three great nephews: Corey Swann, Andrew Swann, Caden Swann, all of Cosby, TN; special friends: Pauline Buckner, Stanley McCamey, Teddy Dabbs, Anna Maddox, Ruth Parkey and Marjorie Crum; there of course are so many other family and friends that have impacted her life along the way, so please forgive me if you were not mentioned by name. She is preceded in death by: parents: Claude and Hazel Swann; special aunt: Ruth "Hero"Holt; sister-in-law: Gail Swann. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-3PM, with the service following at 3PM at Friendship Baptist Church, with her nephew Rev. Stephen Swann officiating, alongside Rev. Cecil C.
